CPA 55E & CPA 65E

Flow Conditioners

The CPA 55E and 65E Flow Conditioners use a unique stepped design, developed exclusively by Canada Pipeline Accessories (CPA), to deliver superior performance compared to conventional plate-style conditioners.
These designs provide lower turbulence and noise, eliminate swirl, and create a fully developed flow profile for accurate and repeatable measurement. Backed by full test and compliance data, CPA is the only manufacturer of the 55E and 65E models.

  • CPA 55E – optimized for severe gas measurement scenarios, where meter performance and meter run length are critical.
  • CPA 65E – optimized for liquid measurement scenarios, where pressure drop reduction is a primary concern.
CPA flow nozzle designed for high-accuracy differential pressure flow measurement in high-velocity steam and gas streams.
  • Optimized for less severe measurement or liquid applications (water, petroleum, crude oil, LNG, low-velocity flows).
  • Half the pressure drop of typical plate-style conditioners.
  • Ideal for gas/liquid ultrasonic, turbine, and Coriolis applications (not recommended for critical dP).
  • Swirl reduced by half compared to CPA 50E.
  • Noise levels up to 30 dB lower than CPA 50E.
  • Meets OIML R137/AGA9 for 3D/3D ultrasonic meter runs.
  • Recommended for 5D/5D configurations under API 5.3, API 5.8, AGA7, AGA9.
  • Sizes NPS 2–36 (custom available).
  • Installation styles: Types A–D and custom designs.
  • Materials: Carbon Steel, 316 SS, Duplex, Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, etc.
  • Optimized for severe gas applications (natural gas, air, oxygen, hydrogen, high-Reynolds scenarios).
  • Suitable for orifice, turbine, and ultrasonic flow measurement.
  • Similar velocity profile and pressure drop as CPA 50E.
  • Greater swirl and cross-flow elimination than other conditioners.
  • Noise levels up to 30 dB lower than CPA 50E.
  • Meets OIML R137/AGA9 at 3D/3D ultrasonic meter runs.
  • Recommended for 5D/5D turbine and ultrasonic applications.
  • Best choice where meter performance and run length are more critical than minimizing pressure drop.
  • Sizes NPS 2–36 (custom available).
  • Installation styles: Types A–D and custom designs.
  • Materials: Carbon Steel, 316 SS, Duplex, Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, etc.
  • ️ Oil & Gas – Custody transfer, pipeline measurement
  • Chemical & Petrochemical – Gas and liquid measurement under varying flow conditions
  • Power Generation – Steam and gas monitoring with minimal noise
  • Water & LNG – High-accuracy liquid measurement with reduced pressure drop
  • Industrial Utilities – Meter runs where swirl, turbulence, and noise must be minimized
