Sonic Nozzles
The CPA Sonic Nozzle provides reliable flow limiting to protect gas meters, valves, and pipeline equipment. When gas velocity reaches the speed of sound at the nozzle throat, flow becomes choked, fixing the maximum mass flow rate and preventing overspeed damage.
Manufactured to ASME 7M standards, CPA Sonic Nozzles deliver repeatable, maintenance-free performance with better stability and pressure recovery than restriction orifice plates.
